
The renders show that both the smartphones will come in Red, Gold, Black and Silver colour options. Both the handsets are said to feature a 5-inch display, though resolution is said to be different of the two devices. Rumours suggest Moto C’s display to sport 480×854 pixel resolution, while that of Moto C Plus to come with 720×1280 pixel.Both the smartphones are said to run Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and come with dual-SIM functionality. The Moto will be powered by a 32-bit quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It is said to come in two storage variants – 8GB and 16GB. On the other hand, the Moto C Plus is rumoured to come in 16GB storage option and be powered by 64bit quad-core MediaTek processor.
On the optics front, speculations claim that the duo will sport a 2MP front camera. The Moto C will have a 5MP rear camera while the C Plus will have an 8MP module at the rear end. The Moto C will be backed by a 2,350 mAh battery and the C Plus will pack a 4,000 mAh battery.
In the renders, Moto C and C Plus look nearly identical. Both images show the handsets’ front, back and one side. The Moto C Plus seems slightly thinner than the Moto C. The Moto C is also seen with a camera bump at the back along with a speaker at the bottom. There are three capacitive buttons on the front, below the display, along with the volume and power buttons on the right side. LED flash too is visible both in front and at the back.
